Durante a manhã de sexta, 02 de novembro, dentro da prisão/empresa concessionada Santiago 1, foi assassinado Kevin Garrido. A primeira versão dada pela gendarmeria [polícia carcerária chilena] indica que outros presos o atacaram com arma branca em várias ocasiões, morrendo na mesma prisão.
Não importa a “versão oficial”, uma morte na prisão é sempre um crime de Estado. A gendarmeria encoraja as brigas carcerárias, festeja com a violência entre presxs e se alegra com a morte dxs mesmxs. Faz parte da nefasta engrenagem carcerária.
Toda a solidariedade com xs companheirxs de Kevin, com sua família e com aquelxs que se sentem próximxs a ele.
Pela destruição de todas as prisões…
Até destruir o último bastião da sociedade carcerária!

Kevin Garrido foi condenado em setembro passado a 17 anos de prisão pela colocação de artefatos explosivos na 12ª Delegacia de Polícia de San Miguel e na Escola de Gendarmeria de San Bernardo, em 2015, no chamado “Caso Bombas”.
